Direito ambiental e sustentabilidade: uma visão geral da literatura

Ao longo das últimas décadas, o Direito Ambiental tem contribuído significativamente para limitar os impactos ambientais do nosso modo de vida. No entanto, os problemas ambientais ainda prevalecem e estão fortemente ligados aos nossos sistemas de produção e consumo. Desta forma, o principal objetivo deste artigo foi mapear e analisar a literatura sobre o Direito Ambiental e Sustentabilidade. A metodologia utilizada seguiu as diretrizes dos Itens de Relatório Preferidos para Revisões Sistemáticas e Meta-análises – PRISMA, baseada em uma amostra de artigos científicos extraída das bases de conhecimentos científicos Web of Science (WoS) e Scopus. Os resultados obtidos desta pesquisa revelaram que o mundo está investindo em Sustentabilidade e esta atitude está promovendo vários ganhos importantes e interessantes com o apoio oferecidos pelo Direito Ambiental. Concluindo-se que o Direito Ambiental é uma ferramenta adequada para minimizar os conflitos de interesses dos stakeholders em relação à Sustentabilidade.
